It's hard when you're starting up to have the confidence to be "branded" professionally, to put your trust in someone else, as you're not sure if they're going to "get" you or your vision... but Cara and her team really nailed it.
Kelly Woodward
Digital producer Kelly Woodward is a freelancer with a wide portfolio of fantastic creative work for brands including Adidas, Pepsi and the motion picture Ex-Machina. We gave her a logo & business cards cool enough to match the virtual reality and digital projection work she specialises in.
The Moodboard
We took inspiration from 3D, geometric forms and neon signs for Kelly's brand. It needed to look high tech and interesting.

Some of the forms echo on-screen rendering, others play with perception – they all create intrigue, and that was a key part of the brief – to stand out as an expert in a market that is getting more competitive.
The logo

For the logo we created a geometric brand mark from Kelly’s initials – the constructions suggests a 3D render/origami, in fact we even created a folded paper version in the studio when we were brainstorming! The two initials are deliberately similar in their shape to create a clear visual.

We then inverted the colouring of this for the business cards, so the KW sit diagonally, coming out from the card figuratively, and giving a nod to the world of VR with a vibrant holographic foil.
The colours run from a spectrum of oranges and yellows to bright turquoise depending on the light.

The cards were foiled on to thick Colorplan card in imperial blue for a sturdy and premium finish.

Kelly loved the cards, saying they gain attention every time she gives one out. That’s what we call an excellent first impression!
