Franklin Lade

After completing their branding, website and packaging, Franklin Lade asked me to come on board as their Head of Brand & Marketing a year ago. Here is just some of the design I have created for them in this time.

Forging a deeper brand personality

As part of the branding process, I’d already helped the brand identity their audience, values and mission statement, so I used these as a basis on which to build a robust and engaging consumer brand personality.

One of the core brand values was to be non-judgemental and appreciate that people’s lives are busy. I blended this with the engineer-founded angle to create a tone of voice that is warm and relatable, while also knowledgeable and solution-oriented.

This copy has been key in positioning the brand as a trusted and reliable kitchenware brand for health & style conscious Millennials/Gen X.

Copywriting & Design

In my role as Head of Brand & Marketing for Franklin Lade, I write all the copy for the brand for campaigns as well as creating the design. This enabled me to use imagery to prompt a copy concept, and visa versa.

I was given carte blanche on most briefs, and this trust in my knowledge of the brand has enabled me to create a wide range of cohesive and engaging brand communications for them.

Email Marketing

I have created over 20 emails for the brand to date, below are snippets of a few.
