MyoMaster

MyoMaster approached me as a growing sports performance company with a loyal customer base, but their branding lacked the impact needed for next-level growth.

Alongside designer Oliver Deans, I helped shift their brand from scattered to cohesive, creating a strong identity that captures their product’s ability to unlock every athlete’s greatest performance. The result is a bold, elevated brand with a focus on visual storytelling, ready to become a household name.

The brand has experienced over 200% year on year growth, making them the fastest growing sports recovery brand in the UK. They have also secured over £1m in investment from seed funding, Dragons’ Den, Google & ITV AdVentures Invest.

#1 Brand Personality & Positioning

I began by distilling MyoMaster’s essence into four key traits: challenge, resilience, community and excellence. These formed the foundation of their new brand personality. We wanted to position MyoMaster not just as a company, but as a partner in every athlete’s journey to greatness.

To create a tone of voice that speaks directly to driven athletes, we went for punchy and emotive language, using bold statements and short, powerful sentences. We also developed snappy, motivating taglines and guidelines for using both first and third person narratives, allowing for both raw, immediate connections and inspirational messaging.

#2 Visual Brand Identity

With the brand’s personality defined, we developed a bold, confident, and elevated visual identity.

The team wanted to keep their original logo and strong monochrome colour palette, so we worked to give these assets a more premium look that better aligned with their high-performance ethos.

We decided on a bold typography in neon greens, contrasting perfectly with dark, gritty background imagery to give a fresh and sporting feel.

#3 Storytelling

Storytelling became centred around the themes of resilience and recovery. I created a storytelling framework for the brand featuring the key stages of the recovery process: situation, challenge, and ultimate success. This approach allowed MyoMaster to showcase the real impact of their products on athletes’ lives and create emotional connection with customers.
